About
VietJet Air is an international low-cost airline which is the first privately owned airline to be established in Vietnam. The airline was granted its initial approval to operate by the Vietnamese Minister of Finance post which the airline became the fifth airline overall to offer civil domestic flights. VietJet boasts a fleet of 66 covering 18 domestic and 26 international destinations and has carried its 25 millionth passenger in 2015.

Class of Travel
VietJet Air provides three classes configuration;
SkyBoss - SkyBoss is VietJet Air's Business class which allows passengers to travel with comfort and luxury. Members of the Sky Boss programme can access lounges before departure. Eco - VietJet's economy class provides travellers with wide seats and legroom for a stress-free journey.
Promo - VietJet's Promo class is the same as an economy class but provides a discount while travelling light.

Baggage allowance
Economy class passengers are allowed 7 kg for carry-on and 20 kgs for checked-in luggage. SkyBoss passengers are allowed 7 kgs for carry-on and 32 kgs for checked-in luggage. Please read more information on baggage allowance here.

Frequent Flyer Programme
SkyBoss allows members with a flexible ticket policy and free additional baggage allowance of 30kg with access to a private quiet space in the airport lounges with free internet services.

In-flight Services
VietJet does not have in-flight entertainment but provides passengers with delicious food onboard.

Check-in
Domestic Flights - Passengers can check-in online 24 hrs to 1 hr prior to the scheduled departure time.
International Flights - Passengers can check-in online 24 hrs to 1 hr prior to the scheduled departure time.

Onboard Support
VietJet Air provides assistance for passengers with special needs. Wheelchairs, airport assistance during check in are provided by on ground staff. Refund & Cancellation
Passengers can cancel their booking either through VietJet Air sales’ offices or website. All cancellations are subject to a cancellation fee.
