Keswick has a large range of shops and attractions to suit every taste.The famous mountain ranges of Helvellyn, Skidaw, Blencathra and Highstreet offer walking, rambling and climbing at all levels for those that which to test their nerve and fitness. For the less energetic, there a stately homes and garden, the Solway coast is near or why not explore Hadrians Wall and the Scottish border country?If it rains, there are plenty of indoor facilities so there is no need to worry about bored kids'. Kendal, Ambleside, Windermere and the south lakes are all less than an hour's steady drive.
