This 17th century Grade II listed house is located in pretty village of Grassington in the Yorkshire Dales. Dating back to 1604, Ashfield House offers luxurious rooms, country cooking and a walled garden. Individually decorated rooms feature Egyptian cotton bedding. Each offers a TV, Yorkshire tea and freshly ground coffee and an en suite bathroom with bathrobes and a hairdryer. The garden suite also has a lounge with feature fireplace and wood stove. A full English is served at Ashfield House and a changing 3-course dinner menu is also available on certain days. All ingredients are fresh and locally sourced. There is also a licensed 'honesty' bar. Guests can relax in the lounges or gardens and free Wi-Fi is available in communal areas. Set on the River Wharfe, Grassington is ideal for walking, fishing and cycling and lies on the â€˜The Dales Wayâ€™ trekking route.Ashfield House has free private parking and is 9 miles from Skipton.
Please note that the 3-course dinner menu is only available Fridays and Saturdays between November 2013 and the 14 April 2014. It is also available every evening excluding Wednesdays and Sundays from 15 April 2014 until October 2014. Guests are requested to make a dinner reservation before arrival.
