Situated in a secluded area within the wooded valley of the River Wye, The Crown At Whitebrook is a restaurant with rooms offering free Wi-Fi and free parking. This former drover's cottage dates back to the 17th century. Each room at The Crown features air conditioning, an en suite bathroom and a flat-screen TV. Tea/coffee making facilities and individually controlled heating are also provided. A set lunch, a la carte menu and a Sunday lunch with roast meats is served in the restaurant, and prepared by a chef who trained under the world renowned Raymond Blanc. Ingredients are locally sourced from the surrounding areas. The Welsh border market town of Monmouth is just a 15-minute drive away and features a bustling main street with a selection of shops. It also includes a medieval 13th-century bridge over the river Monnow.
