There is a family room which includes 2 double beds and shares use of a large bathroom, and an en suite room. Breakfast can be enjoyed in the ground-floor breakfast room, or out on the terrace in fine weather. For lunch in the area, the village of Newcastleton is home to a lively cafÃ© and bakery with fresh bread and coffee, as well as a cafÃ© /restaurant serving light meals. The village is surrounded by hills and woodlands, and Black Burn Lodgeâ€™s owner Michael is a keen walker and mountaineer, who will be happy to share his local knowledge. Newcastleton also has a golf course, mountain biking trails and its waters offer scenic spots for salmon and trout fishing.
